About Luke
A little over 5 years ago, at the tender, young age of 39, he left the crime-riddled chaos of South Africa and traded it for the tranquil beauty of the Central Highlands in Vietnam. It was here that Luke met his beautiful, loving wife and found a peace that he'd long-since forgotten.
As an English teacher in Southeast Asia, he has been blessed to have been the cause of so many adorable little smiles and hopefully, helped to nurture a love for the language in a number of inquisitive, young minds.
Luke has always had a fierce passion for writing, having been somewhat gifted with words since he was knee-biting tall. Over the years, he has honed his writing skills into something that he could make a full-time career out of.
It appears 2024 will be the year it finally happens.
Slowly but surely, He has been spending more and more time at the keyboard as opposed to the chalkboard. The shrill squeals of manic kids running around replaced by the background music of his choice and the soothing clickety-clack of the keyboard as his writing repertoire grows.
After all, every great story begins with a few apt words.
